Disney are currently working on a remake of the the 1997 animated classic Hercules. It is set to return to our screens in a live-action remake and according to Variety, Guy Ritchie will be stepping into the role of director. There’s no word on the cast but Zac Efron, Michael B Jordan and Liam Hemsworth are favourites to play Hercules.
Two of the world’s biggest boybands from the 90s have teamed up for a special virtual concert. The Backstreet Boys held a special concert which lasted for two hours, and was live-streamed for millions of their fans to watch. Westlife then made an appearance and did a collaboration for two songs. A total of 44 million users watched the online concert with Westlife later tweeting a clip of the performance.
Johnny Depp has decided to speak up about rumours he will return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise after it was suggested he could be making amends with Disney. A source has claimed that Disney was ‘very interested in patching up their relationship with Johnny Depp’ and were preparing a contract. Sadly it won’t be happening though as a representative for Johnny has shut down the rumours.
