Top Gun: Maverick has achieved another impressive milestone at the global box office as it crosses the $1 billion mark. The movie has taken the top spot from Marvel’s superhero film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as the highest-grossing movie of the year so far. It is also Tom Cruise’s most successful of his career.
The new Ethan Hawke horror movie The Black Phone is currently showing across Oman, but will there be a follow up? The Director of the movie says there may be potential for a sequel. The Black Phone stars Ethan Hawke playing the role of a terrifying kidnapper known as The Grabber in 1978. Scott Derrickson has said that he is enthusiastic about a follow up if the current movie does well at the box office.
It has been rumoured that Apple is planning to launch a number of new products within the next 12 months, include four iPhone 14 models, three Apple watch variants and several Mac machines. iPhone 14 rumours started from October last year. There could be two Pro models and two non-Pro models which are expected to “generate less excitement”.
