Star Trek has now reached a combined total of 800 movies and TV episodes over the course of its 54 year run. With various spin-offs all currently producing new episodes, and plans for more movies on the way, the franchise is showing no sign of slowing down any time soon. Paramount is looking to compete with Disney and Warner Bros. in the branded content space and Star Trek is expanding rapidly.
Sensitive data of more than 100 million credit and debit cardholders has been leaked on the dark Web. Information includes full names, phone numbers, and email addresses of the owners, along with the first and last four digits of their cards. Details were being sold online by hackers but there’s currently no evidence of any fraudulent transactions.
FarmVille, one of the original addictive Facebook games has finally come to the end. At it’s peak the game had 30 million players everyday, but have since fallen from the top as the flash player used to play the game has also come to an end as it was seen as a security vulnerability. All is not lost though because FarmVille 2: Country Escape is still available and there are plans for a worldwide launch of FarmVille 3 for mobile devices.
