George Clooney’s semi-post-apocalyptic science fiction film Midnight Sky is projected to be one of the most popular movies ever on Netflix. According to their Twitter account, 72 million people streamed The Midnight Sky in its first week. Given the high numbers, it’s ironic that it wasn’t even very well received. Reviews were mixed, with critics and viewers expressing their disappointment.
Last Christmas from Wham has finally made it to number one in the UK charts after 36 years. The song first came out in 1984 and has been released every year since, but the highest chart position it has been able to achieve is number two. George Michael’s family and estate have said they are pleased they are able to continue making charitable donations off the back of the song.
Wonder Woman 1984 has just hit a major global box office milestone. Over the weekend it grossed more than $100 million worldwide. The movie sees Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince face off against two baddies: Maxwell Lord and Barbara Minerva, aka Cheetah. Last month, Warner Bros confirmed that a third installment is in the works.
