A cassette tape by Radiohead featuring unheard tracks is up for auction later this month. The cassette, which was recorded when the group was known by another name, features six tracks, three of which have not been heard before. Handwritten notes are included with the sale and are expected to sell for the equivalent of 1,000 Rials.

 

The New Radicals are set to reunite for the first time in 22 years as part of Joe Biden’s inauguration tomorrow. The virtual parade will take place after the swearing-in ceremony and will be The New Radicals’ first performance since 1999. The band broke up shortly after releasing “You Get What You Give” and have never performed together since. The Inauguration Day celebrations will also feature performances from Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and Demi Lovato.

 

A handful of 3,000-year-old coffins and mummies in an ancient temple in Egypt have been discovered. They also found a four-metre long papyrus that included texts of the Book of the Dead, which is a collection of spells aimed at directing the dead through the underworld in ancient Egypt. Experts say the coffins date back to the New Kingdom that ruled Egypt between 1570 BC and 1069 BC.
