Pop star Rihanna has tweeted her support for farmers in India protesting over new agriculture laws they say will destroy their livelihoods. Her has been seen by more than half a million people on Twitter. In response to criticism, India’s external affairs ministry in New Dehli says the new legislation has followed full debate and discussion.
A new trailer for the upcoming sequel Coming 2 America has been released. The first movie came out in 1988 and a sequel has been promised many times. It stars Eddy Murphy as Prince Akeem and his best friend, Semmi, played by Arsenio Hall just like in the original. The new trailer shows off more of the new characters and more hints about the story line. Coming 2 America is scheduled to be released by Amazon Prime next month.
Denzel Washington and Rami Malek’s new thriller The Little Things has set a big box office record following its recent release. The Little Things was released on streaming platforms and in select cinemas in the US. It’s opening weekend saw the film gross $4.8 million making it the biggest opening for an R-rated movie since the beginning of the pandemic. The Little Things is also currently showing at cinemas across Oman.
