Movie director Guy Ritchie has confirmed he is still working on a new Aladdin movie and has many ideas for its upcoming sequel. Despite mixed reviews, the 2019 live-action Aladdin starring Will Smith was a big success for Disney, grossing over $1 billion at the global box office. A sequel was officially confirmed the following year.

 

Scientists have made the discovery that the Moon is drifting away from Earth by 3.8cm per year. Experts made the discovery thanks to reflective panels that were installed on the Moon in 1969, allowing space agencies to measure the distance between them and the Earth. As it moves away, its orbital period increases and Earth’s rotation slows down.

 

A man has broken the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive visits to Disneyland in California after traveling to the happiest place on Earth almost 3,000 times. 50 year old Jeff Reitz started visiting the theme park every day in 2012, totaling 2,995 trips over the course of eight years, three months and 13 days.
