Mike Myers has hinted that his secret agent alter-ego Austin Powers might be making a comeback for another movie. He teased that a fourth film could possibly be in production, by saying that he can neither confirm nor deny the rumours. If the project is confirmed, it will see the James Bond film parody return for the first time in over 20 years.
The martial arts superstar Jean Claude Van Damme is planning to retire from filmmaking after releasing one more movie. His celebrity status started to rise throughout the 80s and 90s, but after several decades of action movies, he is ready to leave it all behind. His latest project, What’s My Name?, will be the final action movie he will work on, saying he’s ready for some change.
Amazon is said to be working on a live-action Blade Runner 2099 TV show from Ridley Scott. It will pick up 50 years in the future from Blade Runner 2049 from 2017. The original movie was released in 1982 and has since become one of the most loved science fiction movies ever made. Amazon Studios continues to invest heavily in TV series with the company recently working on big-budget projects like The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
