It’s been confirmed that Rita Ora has joined the cast of Disney+’s upcoming Beauty and the Beast prequel series. Producers say that the series will be full of action with romance, comedy and adventure. Rita will be playing “a fugitive with surprising abilities who carries with her a secret that could potentially affect an entire kingdom”.
There’s new research out today that suggests sleeping for an extra hour every night could help you cut around 270 calories off your daily diet. Over three years, this could lead to a weight loss of 11kg – just by sleeping more. Researchers added that not using devices such as mobile phones and laptops before bedtime helps you sleep better and for longer.
The producer behind the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, is now setting his sights on another ambitious project – the first official Michael Jackson biopic. The film will be made with the full co-operation of the Michael Jackson estate, which means the film will be allowed to use Jackson’s music. Lionsgate say it will be an “in-depth portrayal of the complicated man who became the King of Pop”. There’s no word yet on who will play the role of Michael Jackson.
