The pistol use by the late Sir Sean Connery in his debut as James Bond in 1962 has sold for $256,000 at an auction. It’s a deactivated weapon and was used throughout the first 007 film, Dr. No. As part of the same auction the fighter pilot helmet worn by Tom Cruise in Top Gun fetched $108,000.

 

Rita Ora has apologised for breaching Covid rules again after she was paid to appear at a corporate event in Egypt. She flew by private jet to Cairo and after returning home the following day she should have followed UK rules and self-isolated for 14 days, but instead she threw a birthday party in London. She’s quoted as saying “I didn’t follow Government advice and I apologise again, unreservedly”.

 

Early reactions to Wonder Woman 1984 starring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman are in, and it sounds like the sequel was worth the wait. Despite the excitement for another Wonder Woman movie, fans have had to wait for much longer than anticipated to see it. It had two release dates in 2019 before it was pushed back to June 2020. All of that then changed thanks to the pandemic. Wonder Woman 1984 was then delayed three more times. Movie experts have labeled it as an excellent story.
