Tom Cruise has built a COVID-19 secure studio to finish off filming of Mission: Impossible 7. It’s been reported that he is spending millions to adapt a former military base to ensure the rest of the production goes off without a hitch. Filming will now be moved to a former tank design base in the UK. Production has also taken place in Venice and Norway but the pandemic has caused major delays for the movie.

 

Warner Bros has confirmed that a third Wonder Woman movie is officially in the works. The project is being is fast-tracked after Wonder Woman 1984 performed strongly at both the global box office in spite of the pandemic. It has exceeded expectations and now movie bosses want to go ahead with a follow up. So far it has made more than $85 million worldwide.


There’s news of a new breakthrough that could help reduce the carbon footprint of air travel. The aim is to bring emissions by jets to net zero. A team of researchers has successfully managed to turn carbon dioxide into jet fuel in an experiment performed at a very small scale, but could be a game-changer when introduced on a larger scale – making air travel carbon neutral.
