Twitter users yesterday voted in favour of Elon Musk stepping down from the social media platform. He posted a poll asking users to vote on whether he could continue as the CEO of Twitter and received over 17 million votes. Nearly 57 percent of users voted in favour of him stepping down as CEO.
Tom Cruise has been showing off his daredevil side with a new video of him jumping out of airplane for a new Mission: Impossible clip. In the clip, he jumped out of an aircraft over South Africa and was seen in a descent toward the ocean. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is expected to be released next July.
Despite some poor reviews, Avatar: The Way of Water made a modest $435 million at the global box office in its opening weekend. Roughly $301 million came in from markets outside the US, including China. The figures are slightly behind the predicted $450 million though, with the second Avatar movie underperforming in the US and Canada.
