Henry Cavill has said he will no longer be wearing the famous red cape as Superman. The new came a surprise as he announced in October he’d be returning as the Man of Steel. Movie producer James Gunn added that the upcoming story will be focusing on an earlier part of Superman’s life, so the character will not be played by Henry Cavill.
Angelina Jolie has stepped down from her role as special envoy for the United Nations refugee agency to work with those ‘directly affected by conflict’. She added that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has ‘amazing people’ involved who strive to make, ‘a difference to people’s lives every day.’ Now she will be working now with organizations led by people most directly affected by conflict, that give the greatest voice to them.’
Selena Gomez is working on a special documentary to celebrate women in music for Discovery+. Won’t Be Silent is already in production and will focus on celebrating female musicians that have had an impact on global issues. The documentary is Selena’s latest project since premiering her intimate AppleTV+ doc My Mind & Me.
