The new Avatar movie has received mixed reviews from critics, with ratings between one star and five stars. The Way of Water is the follow-up to the first Avatar movie which came out in 2009, and remains the highest-grossing movie of all time. Director James Cameron has said the new sequel needs to become the fourth-biggest film ever just to break even.
A copyright lawsuit in the US claiming Taylor Swift stole lyrics for her song Shake It Off has been dismissed and thrown out of court by a judge. Songwriters Sean Hall and Nate Butler alleged that Taylor took the lyrics from one of their songs. Judge Michael Fitzgerald dismissed the lawsuit “in its entirety”, which means it cannot be refiled.
Netflix has released the first images from Pamela Anderson‘s documentary. It explores her rise to fame and her rocky romances. Pamela, a love story follows her life and career from small-town girl to international symbol, actress, activist and as a devoted mother. The full documentary is released on Netflix January 31st, 2023.
