It’s just over a week to go until The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is released. The series is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Amazon bought the television rights for The Lord of the Rings five years ago and committed to making a five-season production. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will be available on September 2nd.

 

A rare bronze medal from the first modern Olympic Games in 1896 is up auction and could fetch $30,000. It was was found by a woman clearing out her home and had no idea what it was until she took it for a valuation. They discovered it had been awarded to the second-place finisher at the first games in Athens. It features an image of Zeus next to the word Olympia but it is not clear who won it.

 

Michael Jackson’s nephew has slammed Rolling Stone magazine for calling Harry Styles the New King of Pop. The title appears on the front page of an upcoming edition and Taj Jackson didn’t take the title too well. One user, however, disagreed on social media by saying that MJ has had no new songs in over a decade and no #1 hits in nearly 2, so his reign as king of pop is over.”
