An Apple II computer manual signed by late Apple founder Steve Jobs was up for auction recently and was sold for almost $800,000. A firm based in Boston, sold the 196 page manual from 1980 for $787,484. The Apple II proved to be a monumental product for Apple, who at the time were struggling. This became one of the first computers made for the consumer market and changed the world.

 

Actor Sean Penn is attacking all those who refuse to get vaccinated. In an interview with CNN, he compared not being vaccinated to ‘pointing a gun in someone’s face’. He went on to urge his fans wanting to watch his new film Flagship, to get vaccinated before heading to the cinema.

 

If you were into gaming in the 80s you may have played The Legend of Zelda on the original NES. When it first appeared in 1986, it sold for $50. One person bought a copy, forgot about it for 35 years and then donated it to a charity shop. They just sold that copy for more than $410,000 on its website. The Legend of Zelda is just the latest in a growing list of retro titles to fetch high prices at auction. Recently a sealed copy of Super Mario 64 broke records with a stunning $1.5 million sale.
