It’s been revealed that this year’s gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Olympic and Paralympic Games are made from recycled small electronic devices like mobile phones. For the past two years, a project has been collecting almost 79,000 tons of electronic devices from across Japan to produce the 5,000 Olympic medals. This is the first time in Olympic history that medals were made using recycled materials.
Kelly Clarkson has to pay her soon-to-be-ex husband Brandon Blackstock $195,000 a month in spousal and child support. In a court filing, their finances were revealed, including details that Kelly earns $1.5 million per month in income. He thinks he deserves more than what has been offered because of her earnings and thinks he should actually be given $436,000 per month.
Scarlett Johansson is suing the Walt Disney Company, accusing them of contractual breaches over the release of the film Black Widow. She has filed a complaint after the movie was released on its streaming service at the same time as it was released in the cinema. Her earnings from the movie are based partly on office takings. She said Black Widow was intended for initial release exclusively in cinemas. Instead, the double release has resulted in her earning less than she would have otherwise.
