Johnny Depp has said that he is being boycotted by Hollywood following ‘an unpleasant and messy situation’ in his split with ex-wife Amber Heard. Last year he lost a libel case against a UK newspaper labeling him as a ‘wife-beater.’ Since then he claims he is being boycotted by the big Hollywood studios as his latest film, Minamata, has yet to be released in the United States. He was also forced to leave Warner Bros.’ Fantastic Beasts franchise last year after he lost the case.

 

Sylvester Stallone has now had a number one movie in six different decades thanks to the latest Suicide Squad movie. He first made his name in the first Rocky film in 1976. Since then he has a number one movie in every decade since. The Suicide Squad, starring Stallone, is James Gunn’s soft reboot of the popular DC franchise and has just topped the US box office.

 

Apple are in a major bidding war to secure Jennifer Lawrence’s next movie. She took a career break four years ago but now she’s about to return in Don’t Look Up, also starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Netflix was previously in the running for the project but is now not expected to land the project.
