Shares of Meta soared by around 19% in after hours trading yesterday, as Facebook announced that the number of daily active users grew to 1.96 billion in the first three months of the year. This news marked a big shift from last year, when the social media giant reported a decline in users for the first time, which had wiped billions from the company’s market value.
Officials in the UK announced that streaming platforms including giants like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and others, will now be regulated by Ofcom, for the first time. A government spokesperson said this move was meant to protect audiences from harmful material.
In a YouTube video that she shared online, Hailey Bieber gave more details about her hospitalization last month. She said she suffered a mini stroke that led to the discovery of a heart condition, which has since been repaired, and she described it as the “scariest moment” of her life.
