The official Space Jam website which hasn’t been updated since the movie came in 1996 has had an update for the first time in 25 years. It’s in preparation for the release of the new movie Space Jam: A New Legacy later this year. The old site, which is still accessible has stood for decades as a reminder of how early websites looked. spacejam.com/1996/ displays the rather colourful original site.
Movie director James Gunn has teased that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be “huge”. The third installment of the franchise has been delayed but work is now back in full swing. Obviously he can’t divulge any spoilers, but he says that artists are currently coming up with designs for new worlds and aliens. You will have to wait a while though because it’s scheduled to hit cinemas in 2023.
LG is quitting the smartphone business. It’s a decision that will enable the company to focus on growth areas such as electric vehicle components, connected devices and smart homes. LG have said they will continue to support its products “for a period of time which will vary by region”. It’s a move that has been rumoured for a number of months, following huge losses over the past five years.
