WhatsApp is said to be working on a new feature that might enable users to lock individual chats using a fingerprint or passcodes. Users will be able to view these locked chats in a separate section which might make it impossible for anyone without the passcode to view them. The new feature can also help hide media shared with private chats by not saving it automatically to the device gallery.

 

Disney have confirmed that a live-action remake of The Aristocats is on the way. The story from 1970 followed a family of cats, who are kidnapped by their wealthy owner’s butler in a bid to replace them in her will. Although there’s no word on casting or a release date yet, we do know the film will be a mix of live-action performances as well as CGI.

 

Twitter has removed the blue verification check mark on the main account of The New York Times. It comes as many of Twitter’s high-profile users are about to lose the blue check marks that helped verify their identity and distinguish them from impostors. Elon Musk, who owns Twitter, had set a deadline for verified users to buy a premium Twitter subscription or lose the checks on their profiles.
