There have been rumours for several weeks, but it has now been confirmed that Russell Crowe has officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the next instalment of the Thor franchise. He’ll be playing the role of the Greek god Zeus in which fans are suggesting that the Olympians could also be joining the franchise.
Movie star Whoopi Goldberg, who is a longtime fan of superhero movies, is currently writing one of her own. It stars an old Black woman as the superhero who starts off as an average person who gains powers and learns to use them over the course of the movie. The majority of superheroes are white males so this is Whoopi’s initiative to bring diversity to the superhero genre.
WhatsApp is testing a new speed feature on the playback of voice messages. A speed symbol could show up right next to the voice message so that users could increase the speed of the playback – but not decrease. WhatsApp haven’t confirmed the news but a small number of people are testing it and could be rolled out soon.
