Casting for Boy George’s “Karma Chameleon” biopic has been given the green light and could start filming this summer. With a video posted to his Instagram, he teased the project and also does a name drop as he claims “there are rumours of Keanu Reeves popping in”. The movie will explore his humble beginnings through his rise to the top of the music charts in the 1980s with Culture Club.
The number of users subscribing to Netflix’s has slowed down substantially as countries around the world start to return to normal after the pandemic. Just over a year ago when Covid-19 forced the majority of the world into lockdown they were reporting record numbers and a tremendous rise. Growth for the streaming platform has now dropped in the first several months of 2021 as people around the world return to work.
Angelina Jolie has said her divorce battle with Brad Pitt has made her directing dreams “impossible”. The couple have been locked in a custody battle over their six children for five years since they got a divorce in 2016. Angelina admitted that she has sought out “shorter” acting jobs so she could be at home more with the kids. She had branched out as a movie director but now she has to step back into acting roles.
