There could be a Backstreet Boys reunion on the way. Not only that, there are rumours it could be a collaboration with *NSYNC and the Spice Girls. In a recent interview with CNN, Nick Carter has said it’s “absolutely possible”. He added that it would be good to tap into a good time in people’s lives and to just bring nostalgia back.
Movie bosses have explained why the new Top Gun : Maverick took 36 years to happen. Tom Cruise’s busy schedule is the main reason for the long development process, particularly with the Mission: Impossible franchise. The movie then went through numerous screenwriters, which effectively delayed the movie even more. Just when things started to pick up, along came the pandemic and that halted everything. Finally, the new Top Gun movie is due to be released next month.
Microsoft is rumoured to be working on a program that will allow brands to showcase advertisements within free-to-play Xbox games. Sources say that the ads wouldn’t disrupt gameplay but may appear on a billboard in a racing game, for example. However, Microsoft is reportedly concerned that the ads could “irritate” those playing games, and is planning on building a “private marketplace” to let only a select number of brands into the program.
