Kanye West’s sneakers may be the world’s most expensive ever. The Nike Air Yeezy 1 Prototypes will be offered for sale after going on display in Hong Kong. An exact asking price isn’t available, but they have been valued “in excess of $1 million”. The design debuted by Kanye at the 2008 Grammy Awards was never released on the market.
A Frontline nurse in the US has been shocked and touched by a gift sent from Taylor Swift to say thank you for her work in the fight against the pandemic. Britta Thomason gave an interview to a local newspaper about her job, and said she said she liked to listen to Taylor’s music when relaxing. A few weeks later a big box arrived. Inside was merchandise including T-shirts, candles, a blanket, notebook drinking glasses and a personal handwritten letter from Taylor.
Elon Musk’s space company SpaceX has been awarded a $2.9 billion contract by NASA to build a spacecraft to bring people to the moon as early as 2024. SpaceX will be required to make a test flight of the spacecraft to the moon before humans make the journey. This will be to fully check out all systems with a landing on the lunar surface.
