#MakeTheBatfleckMovie has been trending on Twitter as fans have been rallying for Ben Affleck to return as Batman. His casting as the superhero 5 years ago was initially met with backlash from fans who couldn’t see him bringing the character to life. He proved them wrong though when he starred in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Warner Bros. and Ben Afleck have yet to respond to the petition.
NASA’s helicopter placed on Mars last month could be making its first flight over the Red Planet within the next couple of days. After a successful test of its rotors, the current plan is to fly the first-ever attempt at powered, controlled flight on another planet. NASA have said they will make it rise, flying only vertically, hover, and rotate for 30 seconds to take a picture of the Perseverance rover.
Godzilla Vs. Kong continues to dominate at the global box office as it crosses a new milestone. According to The Hollywood Reporter, combined with the more than $69million from North America, the movie has so far earned more than $357million – making it the highest grossing release since the start of the pandemic last year.
