The Rock is showing some support for an online poll that suggests 46% of Americans want him to run for U.S. president. In February, he said that he’d run for president if people wanted him to do so. In a post on Instagram, Dwayne Johnson takes a moment to express his gratitude. His celebrity status doesn’t qualify him to become president, but his legacy as an entertainer has made a lot of people willing to support his potential run.
The release of the new Top Gun movie has been delayed yet again, pushing the long-awaited sequel back four months to November 2021. Top Gun: Maverick was originally due to be released two years ago, but that was delayed due to various production issues, and then delayed even later by the pandemic. Mission: Impossible 7″, also starring Tom Cruise, has also been delayed and now opens May 2022.
The iPhone 12 has emerged as the best-selling smartphone globally so far this year. A new report says the iPhone 12, alongside the Pro and the Pro Max models come with 5G support and have updated designs over the iPhone 11 series. Experts say both these additions have helped Apple gain more customers against the competition.
