The much-anticipated Friends reunion could begin filming as soon as next month. That’s according to David Schwimmer who plays Ross. He said the one-off episode could be filmed mid-August if it is safe to go ahead due to COVID-19 restrictions. It was due to launch in May but filming was put on hold due to the pandemic.
Despite the pandemic, the head of the National Association of Theatre Owners in the US feels that movies should continue to be released in cinemas. A number of cinemas have reopened around the world, but some have had to close their doors again due to spikes in the virus. Until a vaccine is found, cinemas cannot open to 100% capacity. For this reason, it’s his belief that cinemas and studios should learn to deal with the “new normal.”
Jennifer Aniston is warning her followers about the severity of COVID-19. She posted on Instagram a scary look at the devastating impact of coronavirus. It showed how the virus hit close to home when she revealed one of her friends had nearly lost their life while battling the disease. Apart from using social media to encourage fans to wear personal protective equipment, she also stressed the seriousness of wearing masks to slow the spread of the virus.
