Tom Hanks says that Hollywood has “no idea” when it will return to production, as he described his own recovery after contracting the coronavirus. He became the first high-profile star to come down with COVID-19, just before he was due to begin filming an Elvis Presley movie in Australia. He’s quoted as saying that he has have no idea when he will go back to work.


Kanye West has announced on Twitter that he’ll be running for US president in 2020. Elon Musk, the chief executive of electric-car maker Tesla, says that he has Kanye’s full support. This isn’t the first time he has announced his plan for presidency. 5 years ago, after the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards he announced that he will be going for the job in 2020.


Sir Elton John is launching a fundraiser with the help of old footage of his concerts. He’ll be reliving some of his classic concerts, as he launches a new series on YouTube. A number of concerts from 1976 and 2001 will play on his channel, with funds going towards the COVID-19 Fund for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The first one is online now and was recorded at a time when Elton was arguably the biggest music artist on the planet.
