Apple’s upcoming iPhone 12 could be the first device without headphones, a charger or a plug adaptor in the box. It’s been rumoured that Apple is dropping these accessories so it can sell the device at a similar price to the iPhone 11. This could mean that customers will need to buy their own accessories.
Cirque du Soleil has filed for bankruptcy and has has to let go 3,500 performers and employees. They say the move is due to the immense disruption and show closures as a result of the pandemic. Reports say that Cirque du Soleil is drowning in nearly $1 billion of debt. With zero revenue since the forced closure of all shows management are looking to protect the company’s future.
Jennifer Lopez has surprised a nurse in New York for her ‘Heroic’ efforts. Emergency nurse Cassy Toben recently appeared on a TV show via Zoom to talk about the realities of essential workers. Minutes into the interview, she was met with a surprise when J-Lo appeared. To end the call, she invited the nurse to her first post-quarantine concert saying “bring a bunch of girlfriends and we’ll have a good time”
