This Sunday Oman will witness an annular eclipse of the sun. It starts at 8:14 am, reaches a peak of 98% at 9:38 am and ends at 11:20 am. This occurs when the moon passes between earth and the sun, totally or partly obscuring the image of the Sun. As always, never look at the sun directly as it can cause loss of vision or distorted vision.

 

The 93rd Oscars ceremony might get pushed back to April next year because of the pandemic. Almost every movie from mid-March until the end of the year has been either delayed to a later date or has been released directly onto streaming platforms. Even though the Oscars was originally scheduled for February 28th, 2021, the annual ceremony has already been forced to adjust.

 

The family of A legendary sound engineer is going to court with Universal Music over ownership of a recording of one of The Beatles’ first-ever studio sessions. The early demo 1962 was considered by record company EMI to not be good enough. The engineer was ordered to destroy the tape, but instead, he kept it up until he died in 2018. The tape is believed to be worth over $6 million and now Universal Music want it back.
