J.K. Rowling is releasing a new book chapter-by-chapter online for free. She will stagger the release of her new children’s novel The Ickabog over the next seven weeks. The first two chapters are already online and although there’s no description of what the story is about, The Ickabog seems to have more in common with traditional fairy tales.

 

Disney’s Planet Of The Apes movie could begin production soon. A sequel project is underway for the legendary Planet of the Apes franchise with director Wes Ball. It also means that instead of a reboot, the sequel will be an extension of the 2011 trilogy. It has been hinted that it could actually be in virtual production relatively soon because it’s mainly a CGI movie.

 


Zoom, the video conferencing app that popular over the last few months because of the coronavirus lockdowns might need updating soon. It has come under a lot of scrutiny due to privacy and security concerns. Now, Zoom is taking more steps towards creating a safer virtual environment with security enhancements and encryption. The service has urged all its users, through a blog post, to update the app before May 30th.
