Facebook have released a new “lock profile” feature that will allow users to protect their information from being seen by anyone who isn’t in their ‘friends’ list. Twitter is testing out a new feature that allows users to limit who can reply to their tweets. It’s essentially a new reply setting that will enable users to decide who can respond to their tweets. At the moment, when a user publishes a tweet, anyone regardless they are following the user or not can respond to that tweet. They say it will be right below the tweet compose window and will allow users to select who can reply to that tweet – Everyone, People You Follow, and Only People You Mention.
