A demo full of love songs from Ed Sheeran when he was 13 has sold at auction for the equivalent of 25,000 OMR. He only made 20 copies of the CD, and is so determined for nobody to hear it, he has 19 copies in his possession. The copy sold at auction was found in a drawer, where it had been “forgotten” about for years.
A Scientist is saying that earth could be hurtling towards a catastrophe worse than the dinosaur extinction. According to Andrew Glikson, whilst the world deals with the Coronavirus, our focus is in the wrong place. He has based his findings on his studies of other points in history when mass extinctions took place. He suggests the current growth rate of carbon dioxide emissions is faster than those which triggered two previous mass extinctions, including the event that wiped out the dinosaurs.
