Sales of smartphones have dropped more than 20% in the second quarter of this year, according to a new report. The pandemic continues to impact the smartphone industry, with sales dropping worldwide. Out of the top five smartphone companies, Samsung saw the biggest drop in sales. India’s strict lockdowns led to “the worst smartphone sales decline among the top five countries in the world.
A new tool that automatically analyses dreams has revealed they don’t contain hidden meanings – they are simply a continuation of what happens in everyday life. More than 20,000 dream descriptions were fed into the new tool using a system that usually requires manual input. It could soon be adapted to help mental health patients by comparing their real world thoughts and what is happening in their dreaming mind.
