Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch in California finally has a new owner. A former family friend of Michael recently bought the 2,700 acre property for $22 million. Five years ago, the asking price was $100 million and three years ago it was re-listed for $67 million.



Lawyers for Johnny Depp’s have told the Court of Appeal that he didn’t get a fair trial in his libel lawsuit against a UK newspaper. Last month he lost a libel case against the paper, which referred to him as a “wife-beater”. The judge found that 12 of the 14 alleged incidents of domestic violence described by the publication did take place.Johnny Depp is now asking for a new trial.



The Hollywood studio MGM is up for sale with a price-tag of more than $5bn. They own a library of 4,000 film titles including James Bond and Rocky and 17,000 hours of TV programming which is all included in the sale. Rumours say that Apple might be interested, meaning they instantly gain tons of classic and new franchises for Apple TV+. MGM is one of the most famous media companies in the world and have a list of titles going all the way back to 1924.
