This year’s Emmy Awards, is taking place as a virtual ceremony.
The usual star-studded event has been scrapped amid the pandemic, so winners will accept their awards at home.
Jimmy Kimmel is once again the host after the Emmy’s opted to go without a compere last year.
A Scottish record store has received a surprise delivery of signed CDs from American superstar Taylor Swift. Assai Records, in Dundee and Edinburgh, received 40 signed copies of the singer’s new album Folklore. Its believed the gesture is a show of support for independent shops and follows similar deliveries in the US. Folklore is currently the best-selling album of 2020.
A rare edition of Shakespeare’s last play has been found in a college in Spain. The Two Noble Kinsmen, written by the English playwright, was found by a researcher who was looking for something else. Dating from 1634 it could be the oldest Shakespearean work in the country.
