The Oman Camel Racing Federation will hold the first race of the 2022 season, called “Association Sword Race”, this coming Sunday, March 13th, 2022, under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
The four-day event will end on Wednesday, and it will feature more than 57 rounds that will be represented in different categories including Hagayag, Lagaya, Thanaya, Alhool and AlEidaa.
Prizes for the top winners of the races include SUV vehicles and cash rewards, and the award for the Golden Sword Race will be delivered in the closing ceremony under patronage of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
The top camel race event will take place at the at the Royal Cavalry Track in Al Fulaij in the Wilayat of Barka, and it will be sponsored by . a number of companies including Oman Occidental, Al Sharqiya Aviation, among others.
