Oman’s Meteorology Office issued a warning, saying that temperatures across the Sultanate may increase in the next two days, with temperatures expected to reach to the end of the forties and the beginning of fifties on the coasts and plains of North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, and Muscat.
The Met Office also warned fishermen to take caution while venturing into the sea, as weather forecasts predicted high tides in the Arabian Sea (wave height 3.0 to 3.5 meters) and the Sea of Oman (wave height 2.0 to 2.5 meters).
