The Supreme Committee announced that the 8 pm to 5 am movement ban will be lifted on April 8th until the first day of Ramadan, while the closure of activities will remain in effect. They also announced the closure of all activities and a movement ban from 9 PM to 4 AM throughout the entire month of Ramadan.
They added that Tarawih prayers will not be held in mosques and that there will be a complete ban on all Ramadan gatherings. They also banned social, sports, cultural and other group activities during the holy month of Ramadan.
Entry into the Sultanate will be restricted to Omani citizens and residents only, starting from 12 PM on Thursday April 8, 2021.
