The Supreme Committee announced that it is lifting all precautionary measures that were put in place for COVID-19, including the wearing of masks, social distancing measures, and restrictions on the number of people in public places.
The committee still however, called on citizens and residents to stay home in the event of a fever or any respiratory symptoms, and to avoid mingling with others.
It also urged more vulnerable segments of the society, such as elderly people and those with chronic diseases, to continue to wear masks in closed spaces, for their own safety.
Finally, the committee commended the government, as well as private and civil agencies, for their roles in dealing with the preventative measures.
