Merge 104.8  |  13 December 2021

The Supreme Committee issued a number of new decisions, in light of the new Omicron variant, which was recently detected in other parts of the world.

Those aged 18 and above will be allowed to take a third, booster jab, and the committee will announce the target groups for that soon.

A unified mechanism will be announced on how to deal with unvaccinated students, and unvaccinated employees, in both the public and the private sectors. The competent authorities will circulate this to all units as soon as it is out.

The committee also announced that entry to venues, activities, and events that involve crowds, will be held at a 50% capacity, and it will only be limited to fully-vaccinated individuals.
