Supreme Committee Bans Travelers From India, Pakistan And Bangladesh

The Supreme Committee issued several decisions today. Travellers coming into the Sultanate from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh will not be allowed entry into the country. This also applies to any passengers transiting in these three countries within the span of fourteen days. This decision will be implemented starting from Saturday 24th of April.

 The committee also decided that children below the age of 12 are no longer allowed in malls or commercial centers and that all commercial activities, including shops and restaurants can only operate at a 50% capacity.

The committee added that distance learning for all grades, with the exception of grade 12 students will continue until further notice.
