The Ministry of Health (MoH) reported 1,931 new COVID-19 cases, 14 COVID-related deaths and a record-breaking 329 COVID patients currently in Intensive Care Units. This is the highest recorded number of ICU patients since the pandemic began in 2020.
So far, the Sultanate has registered a total of 228,579 Coronavirus cases and 206,844 recoveries.
The MoH called on citizens and residents to continue taking their precautions and practice social distancing measures.
