Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH) issued a statement, announcing that all employees and visitors to the hospital will now be required to wear masks.
This comes as the hospital says it witnessed increasing number of COVID-19 patients in recent days.
The hospital also said that as part of precautions, all employees and visitors will only be allowed to enter from the main entrance, and that the administration will continue to monitor the situation.
A number of other countries have also been reintroducing COVID restrictions, mainly on travelers coming in from China, due to the rise in cases there, including Qatar, the US, and Australia.
