Shops in Oman urged to stock up for lockdown period

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has called upon shops to ensure that they provide sufficient quantities of products during the lockdown period, which will begin on Saturday July 25, 2020 and continue for two weeks until Saturday, August 8.

In a statement issued online, OCCI addressed importing companies in the country to ensure availability of food products and medical supplies in all governorates of the Sultanate.

The Supreme Committee for COVID-19 announced on Tuesday [July 21] that a ban on movement will be imposed daily from 7:00 pm. to 6:00 am during the lockdown period, in which all commercial shops will be closed.
