ROP Warns Against Illegal Entry and Accommodating Infiltrators

The ROP issued a statement, saying that infiltration, which is the illegal entry of individuals, is a crime in Oman that is punishable by law.

The punishment for the illegal entrant is a prison sentence of one month to three years and a fine of between 100 and 500 Omani rials.

Those responsible for hiring and accomodating infiltrators will be subject to a fine of between 1,000 to 2,000 omani rials, and a prison sentence of 10 to 30 days.
