The ROP arrested five citizens for using fake notes when shopping at several shops in Al Buraimi.
In a separate incident that also took place today, police in Dhofar arrested a citizen on charges of theft, after he stole several batteries from a number of parked trucks.
Legal measures are being taken against them all.
