ROP Allows National Day Stickers/Posters on Vehicles from Today

The Directorate General of Traffic issued a statement, announcing that decorative stickers and posters on the occasion of the 52nd National Day, will be allowed on vehicles starting from today, until Wednesday, November 30th.

The statement added that there will be some controls that must be followed, which include:

  • Ensuring that the stickers are well attached.
  • Ensuring that the stickers do not extend to the vehicle’s front and side windows, the number plate or the lights.
  • Ensuring that any images placed on the rear window allow the driver to see through the glass.
  • Avoiding the use of unfixed fabrics on the engine cover.
  • Avoiding offensive and immoral expressions.
  • Avoiding changing the color and shape of the vehicle or using unpolished materials or stickers that violate traffic safety requirements.
  • Avoiding the use of stickers/posters that are not related to the National Day celebrations.
  • Avoiding the use of the crown and/or dagger emblem as a sticker.
