ROP advise motorists of weekend Burj Al Sahwa road closure

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) traffic unit has announced the upcoming weekend closure of Muscat’s Burj Al Sahwa road heading in the direction of Seeb.

In a statement issued online, the ROP advised that the stretch of road will be closed for maintenance works starting from 12:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, until Saturday, September 12.

As per the ROP, they will be “closing the lanes in stages after the Sahwa Tower tunnel towards Seeb.” Motorists are advised to use caution and “follow the warning instructions while adhering to the specified speed.”



“Motorists must exercise caution, follow the instructions and adhere to the specified speed limit,” the ROP traffic added.
